The Boddingtons B14/1R02 Infra red thermometer is an essential tool for all preventative maintenance applications. Ideal for measuring the temperature of live electrical equipment and seeing where the hot spots are. These thermometers are also extensively used on marine and other engines in order to check the temperature of each cylinder.

The accuracy is high, and the laser sighting system enables you to aim exactly where you want to measure the temperature.

Ideal applications include checking the temperature of bearings on rapidly rotating engines, engine cylinder temperatures and cooling circuits.

The BI4/IR02 has an optical resolution of 8:1., so that when you are 8'' away from an object the surface area you are covering is 1'' diameter. In less than one second a readout of the measured temperature will be shown on the large LCD display.
